Delta Air Lines is partnering with Sport 24 to bring 24/7 live sports coverage to international flights through Delta Sync Wi-Fi beginning this fall. SkyMiles Members will be able to watch events from the NFL, NBA, Premier League, UEFA competitions, Formula 1, Grand Slam tennis tournaments, and more on their personal devices. The partnership expands Delta’s live sports offerings to international flights as the airline continues to grow its connected entertainment experience.

Sport 24 Brings Live Sports to Delta Sync Wi-Fi

Sport 24, owned and operated by global sports marketing agency IMG, provides live sports programming specifically for the airline and cruise industries. Through a new partnership, Delta passengers will have access to both Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra on international flights to and from the United States.

Passengers will access Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra through the Delta Sync Wi-Fi portal on their personal devices. After connecting to Wi-Fi and signing in with their SkyMiles account, they can open the web player and choose either channel.

The service will offer 24/7 coverage of major sporting events from around the world, with Sport 24 prioritizing the most relevant live event available at the time. Delta will stream the channels through its Wi-Fi platform, allowing passengers to watch live sports on their own phones, tablets, and other personal devices while traveling.

“As Delta continues to build for a more global, connected future, we’re focused on making the onboard experience more relevant to where our customers are going and what they care about,” said Delta Air Lines Chief Marketing and Product Officer Ranjan Goswami. “Live sports bring people together across borders and time zones, and through our partnership with Sport 24, customers on international flights can stay connected to the moments that matter most while they travel.”

Delta Sync Wi-Fi already covers the airline’s international network, including flights to Europe, Latin America, Israel, and Africa. Delta plans to bring gate-to-gate connectivity to transpacific routes this fall. Sport 24 builds on Delta’s growing use of Wi-Fi for entertainment, giving international passengers access to more live content while they travel.

“Sport 24 offers an unmatched portfolio of live sport and we understand how important it is for passengers to have more choice in how they can experience live sport on board,” said IMG SVP Content and Channels Richard Wise.  “With more than 14 years of proven delivery, supported by IMG’s global knowledge, insights and expertise, we’re proud to partner with Delta to help its passengers tune into the action live, wherever they are.”

Delta Expands Its Connected Sports Experience

The Sport 24 partnership adds to Delta’s growing lineup of live sports and entertainment.

On domestic flights, Delta already offers several ways for passengers to follow live sports through Delta Sync and aircraft equipped with Live TV. In May, the airline partnered with FOX to bring FOX One to Delta Sync Wi-Fi, giving SkyMiles Members complimentary access to live sports, news, and entertainment on their personal devices.

The partnership also brought the FIFA World Cup 2026 onboard. From the opening match on June 11 through the final on July 19, passengers could follow the tournament live while flying. On aircraft with seatback Live TV, travelers could also create a second-screen experience by watching FOX programming on the seatback screen while using a personal device for replays, alternate views, or live statistics.

Delta also offers sports programming through Paramount+ and Amazon Prime, along with coverage from The Athletic and interactive experiences such as SkyPicks, which lets eligible SkyMiles Members choose teams and players in head-to-head matchups for a chance to win Delta Gift Cards.

Sport 24 now extends that approach to international flights, giving passengers access to live games and events as they travel across different regions and time zones.
