Using Kontron’s hardware, including the ACE Flight 4600 Airborne Server, removable storage devices and the Cab-n-Connect A100 cabin wireless access point, the Immfly IFEC platform will be installed on Pegasus’ current fleet of 81 aircraft, including Boeing 737s and Airbus A320s, over the next two years.

Pegasus Airlines will also be the launch customer for Kontron’s new Boeing 737 Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for wireless IFE. The STC will be available to other airline customers by the end of the year.

And with the addition of the portable P100 wireless streaming platform, which is a part of the Cab-n-Connect equipment line, Kontron will be able to provide quick content updates with up to 8 terabytes of removeable storage and deliver high-quality streaming to up to 100 personal devices.
